Guruji’s Core Values, Guidelines & Protocols

The Living Essence through Usha Singh Aunty
Through the divine words of Usha Singh Aunty, the light of Guruji Maharaj’s grace and wisdom shines gently upon our hearts. Guruji Maharaj never preached; His every glance and silence was a blessing, His every moment a teaching.

He guided His Sangat to live with faith, purity, and Simran - to surrender completely and walk the path of sewa, love, and inner silence, where His divine presence is always felt.
  • Stay present and aware; life itself is Guruji’s classroom.
  • Keep your life orderly and pure.
  • Meditation and Simran strengthen your divine connection.
  • True devotion is steady, silent, and disciplined.
  • Let Simran become your breath. In silence, His grace speaks.
  • Perform every act as an offering.
  • Avoid negativity, gossip, and judgment.
  • Let humility be your ornament.
  • Speak to Guruji within your heart.
  • Trust His timing completely.
  • Let go and let His light guide you.
  • Guruji’s grace never fades; it flows where there is faith, silence, and Simran.

Guidelines, values, and simple practices to carry Guruji’s light with dignity and devotion.
Guruji Maharaj never asked anyone to change their outer identity. Instead, He asked us to change how we lived: to live as good human beings, to sit in His presence with humility, and to carry His blessings into the world quietly, without pride or noise.

His darbar was a home for every soul, no matter where they came from. What held us together was not rules but reverence. The Multilingual Global Sewadars Team works to preserve that same spirit across the world.

Wherever Sangat gathers, whether in a home, a hall, or a mandir, the same grace, stillness, and love should be felt. These values and protocols are a way to protect what Guruji Himself gave us: simplicity, dignity, and unity.

Being a “Changa Banda”
Living with honesty, respect, and kindness; this, Guruji often said, is true spirituality.
  • Simplicity – Keeping our gatherings pure, without unnecessary show or formality.
  • Silence – Listening deeply, allowing Guruji’s presence to be felt beyond words.
  • Sewa (Selfless Service) – Offering help quietly, without expectation or recognition.
  • Surrender – Trusting Guruji Maharaj fully, especially when we do not yet understand.
  • Shukrana (Gratitude) – Remembering that every step, every breath, is His blessing.
  • Shabad – Letting His prescribed Shabads become our prayer, our medicine, and our guide.
  • Simran – Carrying Guruji’s name in our hearts through the day, wherever we are.
  • Satsang – Sharing blessed experiences to strengthen faith in one another.
To keep Guruji Maharaj’s presence alive and protected wherever Sangat gathers, we humbly request your cooperation with the following guidelines.

These are not restrictions, but ways of honoring Guruji’s Maryada, ensuring that every satsang carries the purity, discipline, and love that Guruji intended.
Honor Guruji’s Swaroop
To keep Guruji Maharaj’s presence alive and protected wherever Sangat gathers, we humbly request your cooperation with the following guidelines. These are not restrictions, but ways of honoring Guruji’s Maryada, ensuring that every satsang carries the purity, discipline, and love that Guruji intended.
Only play Guruji’s prescribed Shabads and Mantra Jaap during Satsangs. These are not casual songs but blessings and prayers with deep healing power.
Only play Guruji’s prescribed shabads and mantra jaap during satsangs. These are not casual songs but blessings and prayers with deep healing power.
The use of cell phones is strictly prohibited during satsangs. Please ensure your phones are switched off or set to silent/do not disturb mode.
Kindly maintain complete silence throughout the satsang to preserve the sanctity of the gathering.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the satsang has started, please avoid going to the front to bow (matha tekna), as it may disturb those meditating. You may bow respectfully once the satsang concludes.
Please be seated from front to back according to your arrival time. This helps minimize distractions and unnecessary movement.
Parents are requested to keep their children seated by their side at all times. Quiet activities such as books, coloring, or iPads may be brought to keep them engaged. Running or disruptions should be avoided, as maintaining decorum is a collective responsibility.
Parents are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children. No child should ever be left unattended.
Langar is Guruji’s blessed Prasad and should never be wasted. Please finish your Langar, Chai Prasad, Snack Prasad, and Jal Prasad completely, without leaving anything on your plate or in your glass.
Kindly wait patiently for your turn for Langar or Darshan. Please do not break or jump lines.
Sangat is expected to dress modestly and respectfully in Guruji’s Darbar.
Devotees inviting new Sangat are requested to share these guidelines with them beforehand so they may come prepared.
Items connected to Guruji (such as cholas, bracelets, or Swaroops) should never be sold for profit. They may only be shared at cost or given as a blessing.
Inviting Sangat is entirely Guruji’s will. There should be no disparity or favoritism. Ego (aham) and pride (veham) should be set aside, as all blessings flow only from Guruji.
Satsangs generally follow this sequence: <ul
  • Welcome Band
  • Shabads
  • Satsang Sharing
  • Mantra Jaap
  • Aarti
  • Langar Prashad
If you are feeling unwell or experiencing flu-like symptoms, kindly join satsang online and take Guruji’s blessings from home, to safeguard the collective Sangat.
If Sangat wishes to establish a Guruji Darbar, all arrangements should be open, honest, and recorded clearly so everyone can trust how it is run.
Guruji Maharaj’s blessings do not belong to one place, one family, or one group. They belong to all. By honoring these values and protocols together, we help ensure that wherever a soul walks into a satsang, whether it is in a small home or a grand mandir, they feel exactly what Guruji wanted them to feel: peace, safety, and unconditional love.
